Kellogg School of Management: Executive Programs
In addition to coaching, executives can often benefit from formal management programs or other executive education (e.g. “Finance for Non-Financial Executives”). These build awareness and confidence quickly—especially if one has risen through the ranks without formal business training. In addition to teaching MBA students, I teach in numerous executive programs at Kellogg and believe they are absolutely top-notch—you will experience a wide range of faculty and ideas in a short amount of time. The networking opportunities are absolutely incomparable.
Liz Handlin
Having an up-to-date and polished resume is important for current job seekers as well as those who are happy in their jobs, but may be applying for board positions or need to provide a bio or resume for speaking engagements. I know of no one better to help with this process than Liz Handlin. I have had many clients work with her and all have been THRILLED with the end product.
Marshall Goldsmith Library
Marshall Goldsmith has generously made many of his resources available on line. I recommend reading through his materials when one wants a “quick hit” of leadership advice—especially as it relates to behavioral change at the highest ranks.
There are so many books that are helpful and complement the coaching process. I have included here only those that I recommend again and again:
